Syracuse is a wine bar and fine dining restaurant located in the heart of the Melbourne CBD. This is the opportunity to work in an intimate and elegant atmosphere, while providing exceptional service and serving top quality wine in a customer orientated environment.
We are looking for a sommelier with strong wine knowledge and service excellence. Work on enhancing and expanding our award winning list while exploring the possibilities of food and wine matching, and increase your exposure to rare and unusual imported and Australian wines.
You will be responsible for the running of a busy cellar, while being involved in all aspects of a dynamic restaurant floor and your input will be valued. The role also encompasses the supervision of service in the restaurant and responsibility for your own section. We are looking for someone with excellent customer service, great sales skills and flexibility.

WSET2, Master Sommelier Certified or equivalent training would be beneficial but is not a pre-requisite. We will assist your learning and accreditation.
